Product Description
The Biocare Cytokeratin AE1 antibody recognizes the acidic (type I) subfamilies of cytokeratins. These acidic cytokeratins have molecular weights of 56.5, 50, 50, 48, and 40 kDa (corresponding to cytokeratins 10, 14, 15, 16, and 19). Studies have shown AE1 to be useful for marking tumors such as squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of the lung, liver carcinoma, breast cancer, and esophageal cancer.15, 16 AE1 also exhibits broad species reactivity.
