The newly formulated Warp Red is a fast, sensitive and more stable alternative to conventional Fast Red chromogens. Warp Red features an accelerated chromogenic reaction, three times faster than Vulcan Fast Red (VFR); a 5-7minute incubation with Warp Red results in an equivalent or superior staining as VFR after 20minutes incubation. A sharper and more intense staining is achieved with Warp Red. Incubation with Warp Red for 10 minutes produces twice the staining intensity of standard Fast Red. The higher sensitivity improves titration results and enables clear detection of low antigenic expression, small infiltrating tumor cells, and micro-organisms that results in improved diagnostic precision.
Warp Red, a bright fuchsine-red, is clearly distinguishable from DAB and Ferangi Blue on a single slide. The faster turnaround time and superior intensity increase flexibility and potential for multiplexing, resulting in lab efficiency and diagnostic accuracy. Developed for both manual and automated immunohistochemistry (IHC), Warp Red is suitable for both IHC and in situ hybridization (ISH) applications.
