The NeoPATH Pro Universal Negative Control Serum is a cocktail of mouse IgG and rabbit IgG antibodies. It may be used in IHC assays where mouse and/or rabbit primary antibodies are used for antigen specific recognition and binding. The Negative Control Reagent is used in place of the primary antibody with a section of each patient specimen to evaluate nonspecific staining, this allows for better interpretation of specific staining at the antigen site.
