These are not Xylene resistant. If you print labels with these ribbons and xylene briefly touches your labels, the label will smear. If your labels are left in Xylene for 10+ SECONDS and then touch the labels, the ink will completely wipe off. If your labels are never going to interact with Xylene then they work great.
I was using these with IPS60040 labels and found this out the hard way. You need to purchase the Barrier Label kit (IPS70063) instead of using this printer ribbon in conjunction with any slide labels that are going to be around xylene. The risk isn’t worth it.
