Product Description

CD19 is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily encoded by the CD19 gene that is expressed under the control of the transcription factor B-cell-specific activator protein (BSAP). CD19 is expressed by almost all developmental and activation-dependent B-cell differentiation stages and functions as an important regulator of specific Bcell activation by antigen.15 CD19 has been observed in lymphomas but often weak or negative in follicular lymphoma or diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.¹⁶
