The in vitro diagnostic (IVD) labeled the ONCORE Pro Automated Slide Staining System a compact powerhouse for any clinical laboratory. ONCORE Pro opens a world of possibilities to perform IHC, ISH, FISH, and CISH in a single compact benchtop platform. The ONCORE Pro processes up to 36 slides in a single run, with the ability to perform independent protocols at each slide position for high-throughput slide processing.

This stainer machine’s slide processing is facilitated by unique reaction modules that enclose slides between a heated platform and a novel reagent containment chamber. Reagents are dispensed onto slides through a port attached to each chamber, allowing for minimal reagent usage and waste production. These unique chambers provide gentle agitation to enhance incubation throughout the staining procedure, maximizing staining intensity while minimizing background. The ONCORE Pro also accommodates simultaneous Multiplex IHC, allowing fast and efficient processing of multiple IHC markers on a single slide.

ONCORE Pro X

The ONCORE PRO X is a fully open slide staining system that simplifies and automates staining procedures used in Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH) and In Situ Hybridization (ISH). Biocare Medical offers advanced ready-to-use reagents for the research slide stainer. Alternatively, you can use third-party probes for your laboratory research.

The fully open slide stainer provides flexibility and precision, allowing researchers to optimize the staining process for more accurate and detailed results. ONCORE Pro X processes 1 to 36 microscope slides in each staining run and allows each slide to operate at different protocols, resulting in a high throughput. The instrument also enables customization of agitation frequency, incubation time and temperatures, which is ideal for maximizing staining intensity.

The intelliPATH+ is the latest automated slide stainer from Biocare Medical for processing patient slides in anatomical pathology and histology laboratories. The intelliPATH+ is designed to perform reliable and consistent IHC staining, enabling easy transfer of established manual staining methods to an automated platform with minimal protocol optimization.

The intelliPATH+ is a fully open system with continuous random access and prioritized STAT capability, delivering maximum flexibility to meet the demands of the laboratory while increasing productivity and improving turnaround time. The system’s software allows for rapid, straightforward set up of protocols and real-time updates during a run. The intelliPATH+ can process 50 slides (10 slides per slide tray) per run. This instrument is an open platform intended for both Clinical and Research Markets. Biocare antibodies and detection systems are available for added convenience and efficiency.

IntelliPATH MAX

The intelliPATH MAX Automated Slide Stainer is the latest addition to Biocare Medical’s expanding instrument portfolio. The system is designed for processing patient slides in anatomical pathology and histology laboratories. The intelliPATH MAX is intended for processing double-wide slides for larger tissues while delivering reliable and consistent IHC staining in such a manner that closely mimics manual staining methods. This enables easy transfer of established manual staining methods to an automated platform with minimal protocol optimization.

The intelliPATH MAX is a fully open system with continuous random access and prioritized STAT capability, providing maximum flexibility to meet the demands of your laboratory while increasing productivity and improving turnaround time. The system’s software allows for rapid, straightforward set up of protocols and real-time updates during a run. The intelliPATH MAX can process double-wide slides at a maximum capacity of 25 slides (5 slides per slide tray) per run. The intelliPATH MAX is an open platform for clinical and research markets. Biocare antibodies and detection systems are available for added convenience and efficiency.

Decloaking Chamber ARC

Handles The Pressure.

Designed to optimize and standardize antibody staining procedures, the ARC has been engineered to pass strict laboratory safety and quality control requirements. Temperature, pressure and time can be monitored and recorded to produce consistent staining.

The Antigen Retrieval Chamber (ARC) is for professional laboratory use in conducting heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER) of formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue mounted on microscope slides prior to performing IHC or ISH staining tests.

ARC was developed with the flexibility to choose from 6 pre-programmed protocols or custom protocols with a user-friendly touch screen for ease of use. ARC offers a temperature range between 60ºC and 121ºC with user programmable time and temperature settings. Adjust the temperature in 1ºC intervals and customize the time in seconds, minutes, or hours.

ARC has the capability to process larger tissues by utilizing double wide slide carriers. The double wide slide carriers hold up to 27 double wide slides. Both standard slide and double wide slide carriers were designed for superior durability to withstand higher temperatures and improve durability over other slide carriers.

Decloaking Chamber NxGen

The Decloaking Chamber NxGen was created for consistent, accurate heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER). This instrument has five temperature settings from 60 to 110 degrees.

The user can program the times it will take for the retrieval protocol to move from one discrete temperature to the next. The entire range can be completed within one hour. The Decloaking Chamber NxGen offers a fully automated operation that can handle up to 72 slides at a time and only requires a few minutes of operation per run.

This machine also has a port for transferring data. The run data can be retrieved with a USB drive and exported to a computer. The data retrieved includes the time per run and pressure and temperature readings. The data for the previous run is also stored so that a quick start of the previous run is available.

Desert Chamber Pro

Desert Chamber Pro is an efficient slide heating and drying oven for quick results. This oven is better than conventional slide drying ovens because it has:

• A digital timer and temperature process control
• A 365-watt element and a turbofan
• A slide capacity of 750

The digital temperature controller changes the operation of the oven to suit the volume of slides placed into it and keeps the internal temperature constant. With the programmable temperature control, the turbo drying oven provides superior performance when drying slides in bulk. Fast-drying methods are particularly useful for IHC, in situ hybridization and special stains.
