ONCORE Detection is available for either single or double stains as part of an IHC staining procedure on the ONCORE Automated Slide Stainer. The HRP (horseradish peroxidase) or AP (alkaline phosphatase) enzyme-antibody conjugates are suitable for the detection of mouse or rabbit primary antibodies. The Multiplex Detection is suitable for a mouse and rabbit primary antibody cocktail. ONCORE Detection is to be used in conjunction with the appropriate ONCORE Chromogens, available below.
ONCORE Detection is prepared using a proprietary micro-polymer technology that provides a highly sensitive detection system, with minimal background staining. As these detections do not use biotin or streptavidin, non-specific staining associated with endogenous biotin is avoided. ONCORE Detection is ready-to-use for staining protocols on the ONCORE Automated Slide Stainer.

ONCORE Chromogens produce a colored reaction product that is visible by light microscopy when applied to an enzyme-antibody conjugate as part of an IHC procedure on the ONCORE Automated Slide Stainer. ONCORE Chromogens are available for both HRP (horseradish peroxidase) and AP (alkaline phosphatase) detection systems. DAB is a widely used chromogen for HRP detection systems while Fast Red is a widely used chromogen for AP detection systems. ONCORE Chromogens are to be used in conjunction with the appropriate ONCORE Detection, available above.
