p27 KIP1 [Y236]

Product Description

p27 KIP1 is a member of the Cyclin Inhibitory Protein/Kinase Inhibitory Protein (CIP/KIP) family of cyclin-dependent kinase (Cdk) inhibitors.¹⁵ It plays roles in all phases of the cell division cycle. Thus, important cellular functions as the cell division cycle, respiration, RNA processing, translation, and cell adhesion, are under p27 KIP1 regulation.¹⁵ Reduced levels of p27 expression are linked to malignant cancers.
