The Antigen Retrieval Chamber (ARC) is for professional laboratory use in conducting heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER) of formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue mounted on microscope slides prior to performing IHC or ISH staining tests.
ARC was developed with the flexibility to choose from 6 pre-programmed protocols or custom protocols with a user-friendly touch screen for ease of use. ARC offers a temperature range between 60ºC and 121ºC with user programmable time and temperature settings. Adjust the temperature in 1ºC intervals and customize the time in seconds, minutes, or hours.
ARC has the capability to process larger tissues by utilizing double wide slide carriers. The double wide slide carriers hold up to 27 double wide slides. Both standard slide and double wide slide carriers were designed for superior durability to withstand higher temperatures and improve durability over other slide carriers.
