Luis de Luzuriaga serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Board of Directors of Biocare Medical Ltd. In this position, Mr. de Luzuriaga reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for driving the organization to meet customer satisfaction and market growth objectives. A seasoned executive, Mr. de Luzuriaga has held senior leadership positions with Abbott, Bayer, and Leica Biosystem (A Danaher Company). Mr. de Luzuriaga is a dynamic, global leader who has successfully transformed businesses by focusing the organizations on strategy and execution. He can rally the team around his vision and rapidly drive cultural shifts while yielding quick results. Luis provides the confidence to the organization that they can, and will be, successful. Mr. de Luzuriaga is a graduate of Tufts University and served as an officer in the US Army. He is married with four children.

Ernest Chan is the Chief Operations Officer at Biocare Medical with two decades of experience growing and transforming global businesses and leading diverse cross-functional teams. He has a proven track record in delivering financial and operational targets through a three-pronged approach of data driven decision making, rigorous execution of Kaizen (continuous improvement), and voice of the customer driven product innovations. Prior to Biocare Medical Ernie was the President and General Manager of Carrier’s Mobile Credential Platform and was in progressive leadership roles at Fortive and Danaher. At work, Ernie is focused on building a culture of continuous improvement and driving a growth mindset across the organization. During the weekend, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Chris Gildea
Chief Strategy & Chief Financial Officer
Chris is an accomplished healthcare industry executive with over two decades of experience driving profitability and share growth for some of the largest companies in the world. In partnership with executive management, Chris utilizes his laser focus to create cutting edge customer solutions. Chris is currently the Chief Strategy and Chief Financial Officer at Biocare Medical Prior to his roles at Biocare, Chris was Worldwide Senior Director at Becton Dickinson. Chris consistently outpaces market growth through relentless execution of business strategies. Chris has trained extensively in Switzerland, China, Japan, and the UAE with focus on honing his global management and leadership skills around Commercial and Financial functions.
Kandice Creed

Kandice is a dedicated commercial leader with a strong scientific background as well as over 15 years of sales and marketing experience. She has an extensive results-driven commercial history and prides herself with exceeding customer expectations and providing excellent service. She is passionate about maintaining strong relationships with customers and focusing on trust and understanding customer needs. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with her family, including her 3 young children.
John Steel
Vice President, Marketing & Ecommerce
John Steel is a versatile and top-performing marketing professional with over 15 years of proven success in B2B clinical and biotechnology markets. Broad exposure to web development, brand development, product marketing, sales and complex research. Focus on B2B and serving customers involved in clinical diagnostics through commercialization of a combined product and service offering. John Steel has been integral in Biocare’s acquisition process by two private equity companies and aided in two acquisitions that Biocare Medical has made over his 15 years with the company. In his free time, John enjoys building and remodeling homes. He is also 2003 regional, national, and world yoyo champion and one of 15 national yoyo masters worldwide.
