p53 Tumor Suppressor Protein
p53 recognizes a 53kDa phosphoprotein identified as p53 suppressor gene product. It reacts with both mutant and wild type of p53. Its epitope maps within the N-terminus (aa 37-45) of p53. p53 has been demonstrated in many kinds of tumors including breast, colon and prostate.
