Cytokeratin [AE1] LMW
Monoclonal antibody AE1 recognizes the acidic (Type 1) subfamilies of cytokeratins. The acidic cytokeratins have molecular weights of 56.5, 50, 50, 48 and 40 kDa (10, 14, 15, 16, and 19). AE1 has been shown to be useful for marking tumors for squamous and adenocarcinoma of the lung, liver carcinoma, breast cancer, and esophageal cancer. AE1 shows a broad species reactivity.
