Job Description:
Responsible for customer support and maintenance of existing sales accounts in assigned territories.

Job Duties:
Communicate with clients to provide information about the products that the company has available to them and to share information on new product releases.
Correspondence with clients both over the telephone and occasional on-site visits to perform demonstrations.
Participate in workshops, seminars and tradeshows.
Ensure that client information is maintained and recorded in the Goldmine Software Program.
Generate new sales leads.

Account Executive (KY, TN, MS, AL)

Job Purpose
Responsible for the sales growth and maintenance of existing and new Biocare Medical clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Attain sales growth target within assigned territory.
Work with Insides Sales to increase revenue through prospecting, building a sales pipeline, and closing business.
Provide timely and effective sales and service phone and on-site support to ensure complete client satisfaction.
Interface with Marketing, Education, R&D, and Technical Support to assist in securing new business opportunities, ensure proper client training, and resolve client issues.
Determine the need for and the scheduling of Biocare Medical developed training classes for clients and self.
Participate in tradeshows, seminars, and workshops as required.
Ensure client information is recorded and maintained in Biocare Medical’s customer relations management software – SAGE.

Competencies
Working knowledge of Histology and Immunohistochemistry preferred.
Ability to travel 80% per five day work week and completely cover assigned territory geography.
High level of verbal communication skills.
Must be able to write clear and understandable documentation.
Effective presentation skills.
Basic computer skills. Experience with MS Office preferred.

Experience, Education, Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Marketing preferred.
Prior experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Customer Service is desired.
Certification or experience in Histology or technically related field desired.
2-4 years of demonstrated success with capital and/or consumable sales.
Experience with Customer Relations Management Software programs.

Manufacturing Chemist

Job Purpose
Performs Antibody/Conjugate production and purification, gel electrophoresis, western blot, characterization of purified proteins and conjugates, ELISA techniques are required in this position. The qualified individual will also be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of equipment and instrumentation for compliance to corporate procedures, assisting in the training of new employees, writing SOP’s and documenting all activities associated with the manufacturing of all products. This position will require that the associate adhere to all industry standard regulations i.e. cGMP, GLP etc. In addition, the candidate should have mechanical aptitude and the competence to perform routine adjustments and preventative maintenance to the automated manufacturing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performing all essential functions related to protein/antibody purification, conjugation, and characterization.
Performing process development and validation.
In process testing of products.
Provide new ideas and enhance productivity.
Capable of writing and following SOP’s and batch records, and maintaining and analyzing lot histories and trends.

Can be relied upon to resolve and complete challenging assignments.

Previous hands-on experience with Antibody purification, HRP/alkaline phosphatase conjugate production, and characterization of antibody/protein.
Antibody/protein/conjugate reagent stabilization.

Must take initiative; be flexible, highly motivated and dependable.

Experience, Education, Certification
Bachelor of Science degree. Masters a plus but not required.
5 years or more of protein/conjugation experience.
Working knowledge of cGMP a must.

Customer Service Representative I

Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing support to customer service as well as inside and outside sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming calls and route them to the proper department or person.
Process orders for both the US clients.

Assist with inventory and price changes as required.

QA Tester I

Job Purpose:
Responsible for executing and recording Verification and Validation protocols in support of new product development and Quality Control testing of finished product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in development of design verification and validation test plans and executes software and hardware (instrument) V&V protocols.
Perform Quality Control Testing on various instruments as directed by management or established process.
Reviews and interprets data for accuracy, and completes all necessary documentation related to both above activities as required by company Quality System or verbal direction.
Prepares final test reports, including repeating and resolution of testing issues.
Keeps an updated inventory of reagents and slides.
Assists in general lab environment and operations maintenance.
Performs other tasks, duties or responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
